What Does ‘I Can’t Come Down’ Mean?

The book of Nehemiah. A book of the Bible that is tucked away in the Old Testament, and if you aren’t careful, you may miss its powerful impact. In it, you will find a story about an 80-year-old man who goes by the name of Nehemiah. He leads in the rebuilding of a wall that had protected the city of Jerusalem before it was destroyed decades earlier.

Despite opposition to the rebuilding, Nehemiah is able to do the impossible and rebuild the entire wall in just 52 short days through the help of God. From this story, we learn some very important keys that can help us in starting and completing the work that God has called us to do in our own lives.

The name I Can’t Come Down comes from Nehemiah 6:3 where he is responding to his #1 opponent Sanballat who is attempting to convince Nehemiah to stop working on the wall and engage in confrontation with him. Nehemiah, however, is focused on completing the work God has called him to do without delay.

My friend, The I Can’t Come Down Community is a place where you will be encouraged and equipped to take action in the work God has called you to complete.
Through resources, support, and community, you will be given practical tools, and biblical wisdom on how to walk in your purpose and assignment with focus so that you can declare, “I am working on something great, and I Can’t Come Down.”
