Nehemiah 6:2-3 (MSG)
“I knew they were scheming to hurt me so I sent messengers back with this: “I’m doing a great work; I can’t come down. Why should the work come to a standstill just so I can come down to see you?”
About The I Can't Come Down Movement
Welcome to the I Can’t Come Down Movement, a movement founded by, Rachel G. Scott.
At the heart of the I Can’t Come Down Movement is a singular goal: to prepare and equip individuals to fulfill the work that God has called them to do. This movement is dedicated to empowering people to walk in their purpose and assignments with unwavering focus.
Rachel established the I Can’t Come Down Movement in 2018 after feeling led to invite women to a local conference to inspire them to walk in their purpose and assignment with focus. She never imagined how that single act of obedience would create a wave of open doors for the message to be spread far and wide.
Central to the movement’s philosophy is the idea that, once individuals have established a firm foundation in Christ and are equipped with the tools they need to discern their God-given assignments, they are ready to take action on the wall. I Can’t Come Down reflects the story of Nehemiah and his willingness to obey God’s call in the face of opposition and difficulty. However, his willingness came because of the firm foundation he had in Christ.
This is a movement and a ministry and our hope is to serve as a reminder of what God can do when willingness and obedience lock arms.
